Kokomo is a complex man. He likes Hawaiian shirts, Americana and American beer, in that order. But one thing you may not know about Kokomo is that his life in the last decade can be categorised into two auspicious eras:
- BO – Before Out on the Weekend
- AO – After Out on the Weekend
Sure BO can stand for Body Odour and AO for Adults Only, that also applies here. When Kokomo went to the inaugural event in 2014 and was greeted with many wonderful things. Slow smoked meats, $5 beers and a comprehensive Neil Young Tour T-Shirt display, he near enough lost his mind. He even longed for the days that Uncle Neil toured the Trans album. First and foremost though he was introduced to the holy trinity of Jonny Fritz, Robert Ellis and Josh Hedley. This is Love Police Touring at its best, and they’ll all be back at Out On The Weekend Numero Quattro 2017.
